Depending on the bank, there may be a greater or lesser number of documents required. Typically, you will be required to provide the following:
- National ID (DNI) or Foreigner ID (NIE).
- The current account number into which the money is to be paid.
- Photocopies of several payslips and/or any other regular income received.
If the loan applicant is self-employed, you may also be required to provide a photocopy of the self-employment registration document, the most recent annual VAT statement, and the most recent quarterly Income Tax payment slips.
