• The policyholder can be any individual aged 18 or over with NIF or NIE or a legal entity with CIF.
• Drivers must be individuals aged 15 or 18 and over (depending on the vehicle's engine size) with a Spanish or EU driver's license and NIF or NIE.

BBVA Allianz Motorcycle insurance covers the following types of vehicles:

• Mopeds up to 50 cc.
• Motorcycles over 50 cc.
• Quads.
• Electric mopeds and motorcycles.

They must be for private use only (not commercial or professional), with no limit on the age of the vehicle (except for antiques).

The excess is the amount of money you have to pay out of pocket in the event of a claim before the insurer covers the rest of the cost. This only applies to accidents involving personal damage, i.e. where the person responsible is the insured person. For example, if you have an excess of €300 and you suffer an accident with damages valued at €1,000, you would pay the first €300 and the insurer would cover the remaining €700.

The amount of the excess varies depending on the type of insurance and the value of your vehicle.

• Comprehensive options: You can take it out up to 90 days (3 months) in advance.

BBVA Allianz Moto insurance is an annual renewable policy, meaning it will be automatically renewed every year on the same date.

You can ask for your insurance policy not to be renewed whenever you like, provided you do so at least one month before the annual renewal of your contract. This will prevent the policy from being renewed on the renewal date. Just send your decision in writing, together with a photocopy of your ID card (or equivalent document), by email or post.
