The children's account for growing up as a family

Yes, any scholarship or financial aid for children can be direct deposited into this account. In fact, the minor must have an account in order to apply for a grant or financial aid.

If you want to apply for a grant for a minor, it is better to open their account beforehand. You can do it easily online.

By default, the child's accounts are hidden in your private area or app. To view them in real time, you'll need to set them up by following these steps:

1. Open the menu and select settings.
   
2. Choose "configure products".

If the child is 12 to 17 years old, your Child Online Account includes:

When they withdraw cash at ATMs (up to 3 times a month)

• They can choose any ATM to withdraw cash in another currency.
  
• If the ATM asks them to apply the exchange rate, you will have to choose “no” so that we can do it from BBVA.
  
• At that time, the following will be charged: the exchange rate fee applied by the card brand and the fee for withdrawing cash at the ATM applied by BBVA.
  
• When the transaction is completed, we will refund both fees.
  

The ATM may charge them other fees for each transaction. Since these types of fees do not depend on BBVA, we cannot refund them.

Yes, you can make internal and external transfers.

At bbva.es, the BBVA app, and at ATMs you do not pay commissions on your standard and immediate transfers in euros, Swedish krona or Romanian leu (ron) within the scope of the European Economic Area (members of the European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Transfers using magnetic media, Fund Movement Orders (FMOs) and Value Day transfers not included. For transfers which are not included, accompanying expenses and transfer fees established for these purposes do apply.

The Online Account for Minors is in your name. Therefore, when he or she turns 18, your son or daughter will be able to manage his or her account 100% with no fees or conditions. They will also be able to use the BBVA app for adults.
