Yes, to request a BBVA Ahora debit card , you must be a BBVA customer and link the card payments to a BBVA account that you hold.

Does the BBVA Ahora debit card have any fees?

The BBVA Ahora Card has no issuance and maintenance fees for BBVA employees.

A fee will be charged for cash withdrawals on debit at ATMs in the following cases: ATMs of the BBVA GROUP in Spain : 0%. ATMs of banks other than the BBVA Group in Spain: when withdrawing cash on debit by card at an ATM belonging to a bank other than the BBVA Group in Spain in euros, BBVA will charge the same amount as the fee that the bank which owns the ATM charges BBVA. This amount will be provided by the bank that owns the ATM before the cash withdrawal. ATMs located outside Spain : 4.5% (minimum €3).

What happens if I travel outside of the eurozone?

A fee of 3% will be applied to the equivalent amount in euros for any transactions that you carry out outside of the eurozone, according to current exchange rates for the payment systems on the date of payment. Before withdrawing cash, the corresponding fees will always be displayed on the ATM screen.
