Purchase hybrid, electric and LPG cars

On the website (Online banking) 

• Log in to your online banking.
• Click the button I want to apply.
• Go to Vehicles.
• Select Catalog of ECO cars.
• Use the engine filters to see only electric, hybrid or LPG.

In the app

• Open the app
• Click the Apply button in the bottom menu.
• Go to Vehicles.
• Select Catalog of ECO cars.
• Use the engine filters to see only electric, hybrid or LPG.

You can find different brands with a prominent presence on the market, including those at the top of vehicle registration rankings, such as Tesla and BYD electric cars, Toyota and Kia hybrids, Mercedes and Ford plug-in hybrids, and Dacia and Renault LPG cars.

Please note that the range of brands on offer may vary according to the agreements with official dealerships in your province and the stock available at any given time.

You can finance different types of ECO vehicles with special conditions:

• Electric cars: 100% electric vehicles with the DGT ZERO emissions label.
• Hybrid cars: ECO label vehicles that combine electric and combustion engines.
• LPG cars: ECO label vehicles that run on a liquefied petroleum gas system, more economical and environmentally friendly.

These types of cars offer:

• Price cheaper than new: you can save between 10% and 25% compared to a new vehicle and also save on fees, like the registration fee.
• Valid official warranty from the manufacturer.
• Same financing conditions as new vehicles.
• Although it depends on the partner dealership and stock, these vehicles are usually immediately available, unlike new cars, whose delivery can take several months.
• Their equipment and assistants are usually state-of-the-art, but with a more affordable price than the new models

BBVA provides information about the subsidies and aid available, but does not manage their allocation. The information about the Auto+ Program that we provide is based on the documentation published by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.

For electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles:

1. AUTO+ Program Support

Depending on the vehicle you purchase, you may receive:

• Up to €4,500 for the purchase of passenger cars with up to 9 seats (M1 type vehicles)
• Up to €5,000 for vans or light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons (N1 type vehicles)

2. Deducciones fiscales

The purchase of electric vehicles may also benefit from personal income tax (IRPF) deductions of up to 15% of the vehicle’s price, with a maximum of €3,000, in accordance with current tax regulations.

For vehicles less than 12 months old

These vehicles can be subsidized if the owner is the dealership and there has been no other owner.

We recommend checking with your autonomous community to see what additional subsidies are available. The granting of these subsidies depends on the relevant public administration and compliance with the requirements established in each program.
