Installment payment service

This is the service offered by the bank to split certain expenses into installments. If it's available, you will see the option next to the charge. You will only pay for this service if you use it, and the cost will depend on how long it takes you to repay

Pay for any expenses in your account over several months.

You can pay in installments of up to 12 months for purchases and taxes over €50, and transfers and bills over €300.

How does the service work?

  • Suppose the fridge breaks and you have to buy a new one.
  • When you log into your account, the "Finance it" label will be shown in the detail for the refrigerator purchase.
  • You can calculate the installment payments with no obligation.
  • If the Bank authorizes the deferral requested, we will deposit the amount into your account and you can pay it back every month. The first installment within 12 months from the time you signed up has no cost. After that, there will only be a deferral fee.

Remember that you can cancel this product whenever you want at no cost.

Fees and interest

  • Payment deferred over 3 months: For an operation to finance €1,500.00, arranged on the same day you take out the service to defer a payment over three months, you will pay it back in 2 monthly installments of €509.00, plus a final payment of €509.00. This amount is the sum of the proportional part of the credit and the deferral management fee. The total amount payable over the three months will be €1,527, of which €1,500 corresponds to the amount financed and €27 to the deferral management fee. The resulting APR will be 11.54%.
  • Payment deferred over 6 months: For an operation to finance €1,500.00, arranged on the same day you take out the service to defer a payment over six months, you will pay it back in 5 monthly installments of €259.50, plus a final payment of €259.50. This amount is the sum of the proportional part of the credit and the deferral management fee. The total amount payable over six months will be €1,557.00, of which €1,500 corresponds to the amount financed and €57.00 to the deferral management fee. The resulting APR will be 13.84%.
  • Payment deferred over 10 months: For an operation to finance €1,500.00, arranged on the same day you take out the service to defer a payment over ten months, you will pay it back in 9 monthly installments of €159.45, plus a final payment of €159.45. This amount is the sum of the proportional part of the credit and the deferral management fee. The total amount payable over ten months will be €1,594.50, of which €1,500.00 corresponds to the amount financed and €94.50 to the deferral management fee. The resulting APR will be 14.48%.
  • Payment deferred over 12 months: For an operation to finance €1,500.00, arranged on the same day you take out the service to defer a payment over twelve months, you will pay it back in 11 monthly installments of €134.37, plus a final payment of €134.37. This amount is the sum of the proportional part of the credit and the deferral management fee. The total amount payable over twelve months will be €1,612.50, of which €1,500.00 corresponds to the amount financed and €112.50 to the deferral management fee. The resulting APR will be 14.51%

The first installment you make in your first year as a customer will be free of charge, regardless of the amount of the purchase and the term chosen.
