Account documentation It is important for you to know and understand the documents we make available to you before opening this account. Authorized overdraft fees If you have an overdraft on your account, such as when a bill is due and your balance is insufficient, the following fees will apply: Annual interest rate for authorized overdraft. 7.25% NIR. Fee for authorized overdraft in the account: 4.50% (minimum amount €15). The APR resulting from the application of borrowing interest and the overdraft fee is legally restricted for "consumers" and cannot be more than 2.5 times higher than the legal interest rate. Any change to the legal interest rate will automatically modify the APR applied to overdrafts.

Who can contract this joint account?

If you are both 18 or older, live in Spain, and are not BBVA customers , you can open and enjoy all the benefits of this account.

What do we need to complete the contract process?

We recommend that both account holders be present during the registration process with their respective documentation ready: DNI/NIE and your mobile phone to sign your contracts via SMS.

Can we sign up for the joint Account for two account holders at BBVA branches?

No, the Joint Account can only be opened through bbva.es or on the BBVA App.

Do I need to have direct deposit of my paycheck or direct billing in order to pay no fees?

No, you do not need to have direct debit of your paycheck or direct billing to avoid paying fees.

Can we cancel any of the products that go with the account?

When you become a customer, you will also take out the following: The Fee-free Online Account for your day-to-day. Installment payment service. Aqua Debit Card associated with the account. Optional Aqua Más credit card, in case you want it and can take it out. The products and services in this package cannot be purchased separately. But you can cancel any of them early at no cost or penalty, and continue enjoying the rest. Can we go to/use BBVA branches if we only have this joint account?

With the Joint Account, you'll both be able to enjoy all the benefits the bank has to offer; the services and features provided in our application, our website and, of course, all the services offered by our branches, ATMs and BBVA advisers.

If I have Bizum in another bank, will I also have it in the Online Account?

The Online Account already has the Bizum service activated so you can instantly receive or send money with your cell phone, as if you were sending a message. If you don't have Bizum, it will be activated with BBVA and you'll be able to receive and send money from the outset. If you have it in another bank, you will only be able to send money from BBVA. If you also want to receive money via Bizum at BBVA, you can instantly change it from the app.

Does the Aqua Debit Card have ATM fees?

The following fees are charged for withdrawing cash on debit at ATMs: At BBVA ATMs in Spain: €0. ATMs other than BBVA ATMs: the same amount as the fee that the ATM owner charges BBVA. The ATM owner will inform the cardholder of the corresponding fee before the cash is withdrawn. ATMs abroad: 4.50% (€3.50 minimum). Avoid fees abroad You can avoid fees for withdrawing money abroad with the Pack Viajes Confort, Superior or Exclusivo. Plus, If you're under 30 years old, the Pack Viajes Superior is already included , letting you take out cash for free up to 3 times a month.

Is there a fee for online transfers?

At bbva.es, the BBVA app and ATMs pay no fees for transfers in euros, Swedish krona or Romanian leu (ron) within the European Economic Area (members of the European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Not including transfers on magnetic media, urgent transfers, FMOs (Fund Movement Orders), same-day-value transfers and immediate transfers. For transfers which are not included, accompanying expenses and transfer fees established for these purposes do apply.

Is there a check book?

No, the Joint Account does not include a checkbook or a passbook.

Do we have the right to withdraw?

When opening an account online, the deadline for exercising the right of withdrawal is 14 days. The period begins on the day the account contract is signed. The right of withdrawal may be exercised via the bbva.es website and the BBVA mobile app (in both cases from the private area, through the "I want to" option in the personal accounts menu). This right can also be exercised in a branch or by calling Contact BBVA.

How can I complete my details using Cl@ve PIN?

At BBVA, we give you the option to automatically fill out all the details needed to process your registration as a customer, making the process more convenient, fast and secure through the Cl@ve PIN system. To do so, we use the technology of TaxDown, a supplier specializing in remote connections and procedures with the AEAT (Tax Agency) and the TGSS (Social Security General Treasury). This service is provided outside the BBVA environment. As a result, if you choose this option, we will take you to the TaxDown environment so you can provide, through Cl@ve PIN, all the details for the registration process, Always securely and with your prior consent. With TaxDown and Cl@ve PIN, your BBVA registration process will be: Faster: almost all the details are filled in automatically. You just have to enter your DNI/TIE/NIE number and the validity date. More comfortable: just check that everything is correct. More secure: Cl@ve PIN and TaxDown guarantee your privacy.
