Turn your card into a travel card

Use your card outside Spain and don't pay fees for:

  • Withdrawing cash outside Spain.
  • Paying for purchases in a currency other than the euro.

You can turn it on and off whenever you want from the app.

You have 3 plans to choose from

Depending on the use you make of your card abroad. You choose how many months.

  • 1 month = €2.99

    Avoid fees on:

    • One cash withdrawal at ATMs a month.
    • The first €1,000 of purchases in non-euro currencies each month.

  • 1 month = €7.99

    Avoid fees on:

    • 3 cash withdrawals at ATMs each month.
    • All purchases in non-euro currencies.

  • 1 Month = €14.99

    Avoid fees on:

    • All cash withdrawals at ATMs.
    • All purchases in non-euro currencies.

Example: how Laura saved

Laura travelled for a month in Asia. She planned to spend around €1,500 with her card. She also needed to take out cash 2 or 3 times to shop in local markets. 

So she selected the Standard Travel Pack for the 30 days she was going to be in Asia. This way, she saved €76.50 on fees (3% of the €1,500 she paid with a card, and 4.5% of €300 for the 3 times she took out cash at ATMs).

The result? Laura paid €7.99 for the pack, but saved €76.50 on fees.

How does it work?

The Travel Pack works like a subscription that you can activate and deactivate whenever you want.
  • How is it activated?

    You can activate it from the app in 3 steps:

    1. Select the card you want to use on your trip.
    2. Go to Travel Pack.
    3. Choose the plan you want: Basic, Standard or Premium. You can choose the activation date and period.
  • How do you use it?

    Once it has been activated, you don't have to do anything.

    When paying with your card in a currency other than the euro or withdrawing cash from an ATM outside Spain, we will automatically refund the fees on the same day they are charged.

    You can see the transactions and what you have saved on the app whenever you want.

    Bear in mind that, just like in Spain, foreign banks may charge other fees for using their ATM that we cannot refund.

  • And if you don't use it?

    You can cancel it whenever you want at no cost from the app.

    And, if you don't use it and cancel it within the first 14 days of each monthly payment, we will refund the monthly cost of the plan.

    If you don't use it and cancel it as of day 15, we will refund the proportional cost for the days you had left.
