Bizum for minors

If they are aged between 12 and 17 years old, they can send and receive money with Bizum from the Bizum app. This service has adapted limits and you can set it up as you like.

What are the limits of Bizum for minors?

The Bizum app for minors has pre-set junior limits for sending and receiving money. The junior limits are:

  • Maximum amount per transfer: €50
  • Maximum daily amount to send: €120
  • Maximum monthly amount to send: €500
  • Maximum daily amount to send: €200
  • Maximum monthly amount to send: €500
  • Maximum number of daily transfers: 20.

How do I activate Bizum?

As a legal representative, you can set up Bizum and even cancel it. We'll tell you how:

  • In the Bizum section of your BBVA app or private area, go to “Bizum for minors”.
  • Change the settings and limits as you prefer or deactivate the service at any time.

What happens if your children have Bizum in another bank?

If you have Bizum activated in another bank, you can send money from your BBVA app. And if you want them to receive money, select the option “carry out portability.” The change to BBVA will be made instantly.
