CPI

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a statistical estimate constructed by the National Statistics Institute (INE) aiming to reflect the price evolution of goods and services consumed by Spanish households. These products and services are combined into a basket, grouped by families, and with each family give a different weight (this weighting is determined at the time when the CPI is configured). This weighting also changes every 5 years, as does the combination of products and services included.
