BBVA Allianz Accident Protection Insurance

The policyholder and the insured may be different people, but they must comply with the following conditions:

• The policyholder must be an individual with a NIF (Tax ID Card) or NIE (Non-national ID Card) who is over 18 years old and living in Spain.
• The insureds must be individuals with a NIF (Tax ID Card) or NIE (Non-national ID Card) who are over 18 years old, aged between 18 and 65, who live in Spain and who are not self-employed. The maximum age of coverage is 70 years.

The following activities will be excluded from the policy and will not be covered in any way:

• Accidents that occur before the insurance policy takes effect.
• Accidents resulting from armed forces activities, acts of war, terrorism, etc.
• Accidents that occur in catastrophic events such as earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, pandemics, etc.
• Consequences of participation in criminal acts, bets or fights, other than acting in self-defense.
• Events caused voluntarily by the insured.
• Practice of high risk activities such as motor racing, sports diving, skydiving, gliding or similar.
• Sports considered as high risk such as boxing, mountaineering, rugby, winter sports, bungee jumping or similar.
• Accidents resulting from incidents involving fighting bulls.
• Accidents whilst driving without a valid permit.
• Use of aircraft that are not strictly used for public transport.
• Accidents whilst in a state of alcoholism, drunkenness or drug use.
• Accidents in unexplored areas.
• Any illness, regardless of its nature.
• Injuries from medical treatments performed for reasons other than health, such as cosmetic or obesity surgery, and treatments for sterility or infertility.

You can ask for your insurance policy not to be renewed whenever you like, provided you do so at least one month before the annual renewal of your contract. This will prevent the policy from being renewed on the renewal date.

Just put your decision in writing and send it together with a photocopy of your National ID Card (DNI), or equivalent document to BBVA Allianz Seguros, Calle Ramírez de Arellano, 35 28043 Madrid. You can also send it to any BBVA Group branch, or to the email address seguros@bbvaseguros.es
