Save with your card when you travel

By using the Aqua Máxima Debit Card outside Spain, you'll save on fees, even on weekends. You will be able to:

  • Make payments in non-Euro currencies with no fees. When you use your card in shops or restaurants, choose the country's currency on the POS terminal. When the payment is made, we will refund the currency exchange fee (this may not happen immediately).
  • Withdraw cash at ATMs without fees and with unlimited amounts, both in euros and in other currencies. If the ATM asks you to apply the exchange rate, choose “no” so BBVA can do it. Once the transaction is complete, we will refund the currency exchange and withdrawal fees. The ATM may charge you other fees that do not depend on BBVA, meaning we cannot refund them.
