What type of deposit can be made?

The money invested has to come from: Dividends from the stock of BBVA, Santander, Telefónica, Repsol or Endesa. Monthly contributions , between €50 and €500, from a savings plan.

What happen when the balance isn't the same as the purchase price?

The customer has to choose how to round it: Up : if the amount is higher, the difference will be charged to the associated account. Down : if it is lower, it will be paid into the BBVA Dividend Reinvestment Account .

Do I have to be a BBVA client?

Yes. To request it, you have to have a BBVA account and a BBVA Stock Account, where the shares in the successive reinvestments will be deposited.

When is the interest paid?

Biannually, on April 15 and October 15 of each year.

Are there any additional expenses?

No. Both the BBVA Dividend Reinvestment Account and BBVA stock are free from administration or maintenance fees.

Do I have to own stock to apply?

It's not required. You can open the account through the savings plan and make monthly contributions.

Can I change the conditions of my BBVA Dividend Reinvestment Account?

Yes, you can change: The source of the payments. The reinvestment period. The dividends of the stock to transfer. The percentage to allocate. The amount of the savings plan. Any of these processes can be carried out until 10 days before the reinvestment date.

How does it work?

The BBVA Dividend Reinvestment Account lets you decide what percentage of the dividends that you receive from your BBVA, Banco Santander, Telefónica, Repsol and Endesa stock to reinvest. You'll also be able to use it to make monthly contributions from a savings plan.

In either case, you will have to choose an investment period of 3 or 6 months, which will have a yield of 8% NIR, 8.16% APR. The interest on the account balance is settled every 6 months.
