How can I save in my energy consumption?

The change in rates has affected all electricity contracts as there is no possibility now of choosing to have different prices for different times of the day. This division will be made in 3 periods across all rates. 

Take these ideas into account when using your household appliances and save on your bill: 

  • Check the schedule to see when the price is lowest, it is usually at night and at the weekend. 
  • Try to use the household appliances that consume the most in the cheaper periods. If possible, program the washing machine and dishwasher to run at night. 
  • Adapt your routines to the new rates and leave tasks like ironing for the weekend, when there are no peak periods. 
  • Take out different powers during the day: one for the low period and another for the peak period.

Taking into account the changes in rates in your day-to-day life, you will be able to save on your bill and make your consumption more environmentally friendly.
