Yes, you can accept payments with an American Express card. Since the end of March 2022, we have included American Express in the POS contract. If your contract pre-dates that and you want to start accepting this type of card, contact your adviser to extend your contract to American Express with no activation cost

For the variable rate, there is no commitment to stay.

For the fixed rate, the contract for your payment solution is for one year.  If you wish to cancel the contract early, the proportional costs of the activity will be charged up to that moment.

For example, in the case of canceling a 10 plan upon completion of the sixth month, the billing limit proportional to 6 months will be calculated. As the limit of the 10 plan is €20,000, in the sixth month it would be €10,000. Therefore:

• If your accumulated billing is less than €10,000, no additional cost will be charged, and you will be able to cancel the contract without paying any penalty.
• If the accumulated billing is €12,000. As billing exceeds the proportional limit by €2,000, 1.10% of that excess billing will be charged. In that case, the contract would be canceled for the payment of €22.

At BBVA, we are responsible for the perfect condition of your POS terminal at all times. That is why we do not deliver POS terminals in our own possession.

This is the way to guarantee that if a POS terminal becomes obsolete or fails for any reason, we will replace or fix it in less than 48 hours and with no unexpected costs.
