Does this insurance cover business premises not in use?

Yes, this insurance for businesses covers inactive commercial premises, subject to the other risks applied for in the insurance policy questionnaire, and including the limits and exclusions set forth in the policy.

What are the product limits?

Yes, limits do apply, depending on the coverage: Building, furniture, equipment and goods: Up to €3,000,000 (non-industrial risk) and €1,000,000 (industrial risks). Cash in transit: up to €5,000. Cash in safe: up to €30,000. Employee infidelity: up to €10,000. 'Loss of profits': up to €1,000 a day for a maximum of 100 days. Siege of a secured vehicle transporting cash: up to €30,000. Loss of rent/uninhabitable: maximum of 12 months, with a 48-hour waiting period. Breakage of windows, theft in the building, electrical damage and breakage of machinery: up to €50,000. Spilled merchandise, fallen shelves, spilled melted merchandise and refrigerated goods: up to €100,000. Civil liability: €1,500,000. Sub-limit per victim of up to €500,000. Aesthetic repairs to the building: 10% insured sum. Replacement of molds: 10% movable equipment and furniture; up to €60,000. Replacement of files: 10% movable equipment and furniture; up to €150,000. Frost: 2% of the insured sum for the Building, up to €30,000

Vehicle workshops, service stations, wineries, hospitality, sports facilities, schools, gyms, play-children centers, industrial and non-industrial laundries and dry cleaners, hairdressers and beauty salons, veterinary clinics and canine hairdressers, sale of pets and animal health products, sale and repair of products in general, tailoring, driving schools, hairdressing and beauty academies, hospitality academy, spas and urban spas, pharmacies, parapharmacies and agricultural activities.

Does this insurance for businesses include deductibles?

Yes, there are 2 types of general deductibles: €150 and €300 for certain coverage and depending on whether your business is a SME (factory, warehouse, workshop, etc.) or a store/office.

How long is this insurance for businesses valid for?

It is annual and renewable. The policy will be renewed automatically every year on the same effective date.

What is the payment method?

The premium is payable annually by direct debit. You can ask your BBVA adviser about payment plan options.

Where does this policy provide coverage?

The territorial scope of coverage is all of Spain, and only for the Civil Liability coverage these are events that occurred and were declared (claimed) within the EU, Andorra and the United Kingdom.

Emergency assistance and services: free ambulance transfer, sending of qualified security personnel in the event of a claim, urgent locksmith, plumbing and electricity services. Legal assistance .
