What phone do you need to use the Mobile Payment POS terminal?

To take payment with your Mobile Payment POS terminal, your phone must have one of these operating systems: No reader: Android with version 11.0 or higher. For security reasons, your Android phone must not be rooted. With reader: Android with version 5.0 or higher. For security reasons, your Android phone must not be rooted. With reader: Apple iOS with version 8.0 or higher.

Can I accept American Express if I have the Mobile Payment POS terminal?

No, for now, the POS terminal on the phone without a reader can't accept payments with American Express cards. If your business has buyers who use these cards, we recommend you sign up for the Android POS terminal, which can also be used to collect payments on the road, thanks to its 4G and Wi-Fi connections.

How can you deposit the cash proceeds?

You can request the Free express deposit card so that anyone on your team can deposit the cash proceeds at an ATM . Install the BBVA Cobros app on your cell phone and use the passwords you receive to log in.
For each sale, enter the amount and payment method.
Bring your customer's card or cell phone close to your phone or card reader* to process the transaction. If charging with Bizum, type in your customer's cell phone. It's that easy!

*If you have an Android smartphone version 11.0 or later, you can charge directly from your phone. For all other cell phones, amounts will be charged using a card reader connected to your phone by Bluetooth.

What do you need to use the Mobile Payment POS terminal?

Be a BBVA customer.

In order to use your mobile dataphone, you need a BBVA account to receive your sales payments. If you are not yet a customer, become a customer 100% online.

Have a smartphone with an internet connection

You need to have an Android or iPhone smartphone* with mobile data or a Wi-Fi connection for the payments to be credited to your account.

*For payments directly from the application, only Android version 11.0 or higher.
