I have forgotten my card PIN number

These are the options available to you to view your card's PIN if you have forgotten it
You have various options available for checking your PIN securely:

You can check your card PIN easily from the BBVA app. Remember that you can log in to the BBVA App using the same passwords you use for bbva.es.

You must follow these steps: 

  1. Choose the card whose PIN you want to check. 
  2. Select the “Show more” option (icon with 3 dots). 
  3. Select the "Check PIN" option. 
  4. Enter the confirmation code sent by SMS to your cell phone (validated).

After these simple steps, your PIN will be displayed for 10 seconds.

You can check your card PIN easily from bbva.es within a private area.

You must follow these steps:

  1. Choose the card whose PIN you want to check.
  2. Select the option "I want to".
  3. Select the "Check PIN" option.
  4. Enter the confirmation code sent by SMS to your cell phone (validated).

After carrying out these simple steps, your PIN will be displayed for 40 seconds.

Change your PIN at your bank

You can go to a BBVA branch and request the PIN for your card from the teller.

  1. You will need to bring the physical debit or credit card for which you want to request the PIN.
  2. You will need to identify yourself by showing your DNI, passport or resident's card.
  3. You will then be given a one-time password which you will be able to take to a BBVA ATM to change your card PIN.
