What is the territorial and temporal scope of the policy?

This policy provides coverage in those places where the insured activity takes place and against claims that are settled out of court or in the courts of European Union member states, in accordance with the regulations in force in EU member states. Provided that the insured party is unaware of their existence, any claims generated before the policy goes into force will be covered retroactively until April 30, 2007, except for those risks involving Transport and subcontracted activities in airports, for which there is no retroactivity, meaning claims will only be covered from the effective date of the policy.

The policy is annual and renewable . The policy will be tacitly renewed every year on the same effective date. It can only be cancelled by giving the company one month's notice before the policy expires .

What does this insurance cover?

Environmental Liability Insurance is intended to protect your assets if you are unexpectedly involved in an incident that damages the environmental (i.e., it affects the water, flora and fauna, sea or river shores, or soil), and the origin of the incident lies in your facilities and in the activities carried out outside the insured center.

The insurance covers any obligations arising from Environmental Liability, as regulated by Act 26/2007 of October 23, and its implementing regulations or others that contain equivalent obligations, such as prevention measures to avoid imminent environmental damage, or those needed to prevent further damage if it has already taken place.
