Environmental Liability Insurance is intended to protect your assets if you are unexpectedly involved in an incident that damages the environmental (i.e., it affects the water, flora and fauna, sea or river shores, or soil), and the origin of the incident lies in your facilities and in the activities carried out outside the insured center.

The insurance covers any obligations arising from Environmental Liability, as regulated by Act 26/2007 of October 23, and its implementing regulations or others that contain equivalent obligations, such as prevention measures to avoid imminent environmental damage, or those needed to prevent further damage if it has already taken place.

The limits, capital and deductibles differ, depending on the activity insured. You decide the level of protection you need by choosing the compensation limit that is right for your needs.

• You can choose an indemnity limit of up to €6,000,000.
• The aggregate yearly limit is double the insured sum, up to €12,000,000.
• The product offers fixed guarantees that you can supplement with optional guarantees to adapt it to your activity or profession.

The policy is available for:

• All types of activities: Industrial; Services; Non-industrial, such as shopping centers, schools, dry cleaners, etc.
• Legal entities CIF and individuals NIF or NIE
• Those that have fuel tanks or pipelines and other hazardous substances, especially underground.
• Installations with the potential to generate fires, department stores, waste storage, etc.
• Carriers or service companies that might be at greater risk due to the changing conditions of the environment in which they work.
