  • Applying for the Agropréstamo loan is very simple, you just need to follow the following steps:

    • Request a minimum of €600.
    • Choose the term you need for your investment:
      - Medium and long term for agricultural or livestock investments
      - Short term for campaign loans and subsidy advances. Excluding CAP advances, which have their own CAP Anticipo Agropréstamo product.

  • Example for a loan for an agricultural or livestock holding that needs €60,000 at 60 months with variable interest rate without commitment fee:

    • Interest rate: 5.037%.
    • APR: 5.133%.
    • No commitment fee.
    • Repayment: French quarterly system.
    • Variable interest: 12-month Euribor + 1.5%.
    • Quarterly payment: €3,412.37
    • Final payment: €3,412.26
    • Total amount: €68,247.29

    Example calculated using the 12-month Euribor from 02/06/2024: 3.537% + 1.5%.

    Example for a variable-rate, 60-month, €60,000 loan with commitment fee:

    • Interest rate: 5.037%.
    • APR: 5.554%.
    • Commitment fee: 1% (€600).
    • Repayment: French quarterly system.
    • Variable interest: 12-month Euribor + 1.5%.
    • Quarterly payment: €3,412.37
    • Final payment: €3,412.26
    • Total loan amount: €68,247.29 + €600 = €68,847.29.

    Example calculated using the 12-month Euribor from 02/06/2024: 3.537% + 1.5%.

What are the main costs involved?

    • Fee for partial and full early cancellation: we apply it whenever you make a partial repayment or when you repay the entire outstanding amount in advance. Applied to the amount paid.

    Both the interest rate and the fees depend on various factors. Ask your adviser for a simulation.

What conditions do you have to meet?

  • To obtain the Agropréstamo, you must meet the following conditions:

    • You must be an arable farmer, livestock farmer, or engaged in a forestry activity.
    • Having an account at BBVA.
