With leasing insurance, you will receive compensation if the financed asset suffers a total loss.

How does SegurLeasing work?

  • SegurLeasing is a type of insurance policy associated with leasing transactions, which guarantees indemnity for the beneficiary against total loss of the leased asset.

    In the event of partial loss, the asset will be repaired, except in vehicle financial leases, where the policy will only cover total loss. 

    In the case of real estate transactions, the cost of repairs will be compensated in the case of partial loss, or the cost of rebuilding in the case of total loss.

    You can insure all assets in the lease financing contract, provided the financing is taken out via Leasing BBVA:

    Movable assets:

    • Office equipment and similar: Management computers, office machinery, telephone switchboard, tanks, pipelines and similar.
    • Fixed machinery and industrial facilities, fixed construction equipment and machinery.
    • Portable computers, portable phones (installed in vehicles or not), multi-purpose devices for pharmacies and electromedicine (devices for measuring weight and height, blood pressure, heart rate and the like).
    • Tobacco, beverage or similar vending machines installed in public thoroughfares or in commercial or leisure establishments.
    • Self-propelled construction or farming machinery: excavators, concrete mixers, dumpers, cranes, mining, quarry and borehole machinery; caravans, tractors, harvesters and other farming and forestry machinery.

    Real estate:

    • Warehouses, industrial premises and industrial buildings.
    • Offices, garages and commercial space.
    • Shopping centers, hospitals, schools and hotels.

    Of Transportation:

    • Trucks, tractors, tractor trucks, industrial vehicles, trailers, semitrailers, buses, coaches, trolley buses and vans
