      What is the Smart Business contract like?

      • Smart Business is made up of 2 different contracts:

        • Rent&Tech and Revo provide the devices with a risk insurance policy and subscription to management apps with a renting contract for a monthly price for 24 or 36 months.
        • BBVA provides the POS terminals with a fee associated with each pack that you can adjust to your preferences after signing the contract.

      In addition to signing the technology renting contract and the POS terminal contract, remember that you also need:

      • Be a BBVA customer

      You need a BBVA account where you can receive your sales payments. If you are not yet a customer, become a customer 100% online.

      • Have cell phone coverage or WiFi network

      You need to have the POS terminal in an area where there is cell phone coverage or connect it to the Wi-Fi network of your internet connection for the charges to reach your account.

      At the time of installation, a specialized Revo team will explain every detail of Smart Business to you so that you can control the system and get the most out of it from the start. From experience, we have determined that a 2-hour training session is required.

      It also includes loading all the business data into the system if the data is delivered in the Excel template provided by Revo. If you submit another format that involves manually entering the data, it will load up to 250 items.

      All the devices you include in Smart Business are protected by risk insurance that includes damage due to impact, vandalism or theft, so that you have protection in the event of these unforeseen events at your premises.

      Yes, it is possible to cancel it early, but bear in mind that it affects 2 contracts and they address the solution differently:

      The renting contract with Rent&Tech and Revo can be cancelled, but you will have to pay the outstanding installments.

      The contract with BBVA can be cancelled, but it works differently depending on the price of your POS terminal:

      For the variable price, you can cancel the contract whenever you want.

      For the fixed rate, the contract for your payment solution is for one year. If you wish to cancel the contract early, the proportional costs of the activity will be charged up to that moment.

      For example, in the case of canceling a 10 plan upon completion of the sixth month, the billing limit proportional to 6 months will be calculated. As the limit of the 10 plan is €20,000, in the sixth month it would be €10,000. Therefore:

      • If your accumulated billing is less than €10,000, no additional cost will be charged, and you will be able to cancel the contract without paying any penalty.
      • If the accumulated billing is €12,000. As billing exceeds the proportional limit by €2,000, 1.10% of that excess billing will be charged. In that case, the contract would be canceled for the payment of €22.

      A few weeks before your contract expires, Rent&Tech will contact you to propose these options:

      • Renew devices and sign a new contract.
      • Purchase the devices for an additional fee.
      • Return the devices.

      If you decide to terminate the renting contract, you can extend the contract with BBVA and Revo independently. We would send the price of the updated Revo license without device renting.

      Yes, you have 2 options to add a new device:

      • Sign a new contract for the new device and keep the initial Pack contract.
      • Cancel the contract for the initial pack and sign a new contract with the new device.

       

      When you sign the contract, we will send you your login credentials with a username and password by email. With these details, you will be able to access the web administration console and all Revo apps.

      When you sign the contract, a specialized Revo team will contact you to agree a date, time and confirm the address. On the day of installation, they will set up the system at your premises and will also help you with the first steps so that you can get the most out of Smart Business from the start.
