You can deduct up to 60% of the work cost with a maximum of €3,000 per year in the 2024 and 2025 tax returns (although it can be extended). That is, you can deduct €3,000 one year and another €3,000 the following year.

• The work must be on a dwelling, storage room or garage on your property intended for residential use.
• There has to be a reduction in energy consumption of more than 30% or an improvement in energy rating to get an A or a B.

Grants and deductions are subject to the availability and legislation in force at any given time. BBVA is not in charge of managing them, so it is advisable to check all the details with the tax office.
