Mobile token: activation and unblocking

Activate token on cell phone

Following these simple steps:

Your security device or mobile token, needed for signing transactions, is activated via the online business banking app.
  • Once you have downloaded/installed the BBVA online business banking app from the relevant store, enter your usual login credentials for the website version.
  • The system will automatically detect that the mobile token is awaiting activation and will guide you through the process.
  • You'll be able to sign transactions with your mobile token in just two steps:
    • You have to enter the activation code that we will send you via SMS (to the telephone number provided for online banking).
    • And assign it a name that lets you identify it easily (the application allows having several tokens for different online business banking accounts on the same phone). Remember this name, you will need it every time you request the security code to sign transactions.


Why is it important?

Doubly protected.

Your online banking has a two levels of security. As a result, the system will ask you to enter the code generated by your security device (token on your cell phone), activated via the app:
  • When logging in, every 90 days.
  • When checking <Balances and transactions> older than 90 days.
  • In the signing of operations and validation in the user circuit.

Authorizing orders in the app is easier, since the token is built-in: go to <Signatures and files> and select the operation in question.

If you attempt to sign an operation and the online business banking platform informs you that your mobile token is blocked because you have exceeded the number of attempts permitted, please contact Customer Service (91 224 98 02).
