 Steps | Some Recommendations

Congratulations: you’ve found a house you like.

Now, what’s the next step?

1.-Drop in at the BBVA branch nearest to your new home: you’re sure to find one close by.
If you have difficulties locating the nearest branch, call Línea BBVA on
902 22 44 66 for directions.
Use our branch search system.
We have customer service offices at your disposal abroad.

2.- At the branch (or via Línea BBVA) you will receive information on the financial terms and conditions of your mortgage, and advice on the type of mortgage that best suits your circumstances

3.-  Fill in the application form: the personal account manager at the branch will help you.
The account manager will tell you what documents you need to hand over, or send in if you do not have them with you at the time

4.-  Open an account at the BBVA branch at the same time: you can then transfer funds to make your purchase on the most favourable terms. Ask about the different possibilities. BBVA offers you the best products and services on the market

5.-  Now relax and stop worrying

BBVA will appraise the property you are going to buy.
We will inform you of the legal situation of the property and confirm that it is free of encumbrances and there are no hitches in transferring ownership.

You will get a quick answer to your mortgage loan application.
Once the loan is granted, we will draw up the contracts to be ready to be signed in front of the public notary

6.- Now decide when would be the best time for an appointment with the  public notary (in Spain all purchase and mortgage agreements are signed in front of a notary, who acts as a commissioner for oaths), and make arrangements for all the payments. BBVA will help you issue cheques and bank certificates

7.-  Finally, once the deeds have been signed in front of the public notary, BBVA will handle the registration of the property in your name.
